She apologizes for not posting....

It has been far too long since I have updated this blog. I apologize a thousand times! Grad school has been keeping me busier than I expected. I can get a little out of touch with the rest of the world, all wrapped up in my own, but I can’t tell you how important your comments are to me. They remind me why I am here learning all this new information about education, to make your educational experience better! I guess the least I can do after such a long break from posting is to fill you in on what I have been spending most of my time doing here. This will take at least two posts though, so give me some time to get them together. Until then, here are some much deserved shout-outs!

Lilly W- Congratulations on winning the spelling bee! That is awesome news! I am so proud to see the 6th and 7th graders doing so well! You were correct with your guess that I did not give out candy for Halloween this year. Instead, I dressed as Galinda, from Wicked, and hung out with some friends. It gave me the perfect excuse to sing my favorite songs from the musical!

Margaret- Mrs. Wenzel has my address, and I told her to give it to you if you ask her. It is not a good idea to put any personal information, like an address, on the internet. I am a big fan of snail mail, so I am very excited that you are planning on using it!

Zach- I am glad you had fun trick or treating. The Scream killer always scares me! I am not surprised that you are doing well in school; you are such a hard worker and very creative!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We all have a lot for which to be thankful.

  8. Lilly, your updates and comments on the blog always brighten my day! I was so glad to stop by school the other day. It would have been nice if I could have stayed longer, but I feel like I already took too much time away from learning! I absolutely love Washington D.C. :) It is a great city with lots of fun things to do, places to see, and information to learn. I hope you are enjoying school! And I hope you have read the Hunger Games! My next few blogs will be about those books, so spread the word ;)
